Fenqiu acts like your typical punk on the streets. He’s loud, angry, and will fight you if you mess with him… once you get to know him however, you see that the “tough guy” act is… just that, an act. Fenqiu is very sensitive in reality. He cries easily when he’s upset, and feels strongly about everything.

He has a massive inferiority complex towards his older sister. She practically raised him even though she was just a kid herself when their parents died. She’s always been so cunning and competent, all while treating Fenqiu like a helpless little child. Fenqiu is desperate to prove that he’s anything BUT fragile and weak.

Even though Huaxiang tried to shelter him from her crimes– Fenqiu witnessed her first murder as a child, and it scarred him for life. He can’t reconcile with Huaxiang’s grey morality, so he copes by viewing the world strictly in black and white.
